This bouldering paradise is set in a remote and tranquil forest near the town of Albarracin, Teruel, Spain. The delightful town, with walls and towers dating from early Muslim times, a 16th century cathedral and medieval galleried houses, has rightly earned the honour of an international award for historical preservation.

The bouldering quality is world class: new, fresh and vast. This relatively unknown area has impressed all who visit for it's beauty, charm and variety of boulders. This has been said to be the next best thing to Font and offers a wide range of bouldering problems for all grades.

Weather & Climate

Albarracin has the great advantage of offering year-round bouldering. At 900 metres above sea level, the air is cooler than other, much warmer, lower-climbing regions in Spain.

Accommodation

Here we have self-catering apartments or some lovely bed and breakfast options depending on your preferences. Basic self-catering 'climbing bunkhouses' are also a possibility, if you want to be right on the climbing region's doorstep. There's even the option to camp for those on a lower budget.

You will be based in Albarracin, a small historic Spanish town with a fantastic amount of history and charm. It offers a variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.

Look below for upcoming Albarracin holidays and courses.
