Cat Freeman

After training as a lawyer and instructing part-time Cat recently decided to move into outdoor instructing full time and I’ve never been happier! In fact I’d say I’m happiest when I’m at a crag or planning the next big adventure.
I have climbed sport and trad all over the UK, at many locations in Europe and in South America. Last year I spent five months climbing all over Africa including several new trad lines in Zimbabwe, fantastic slabs in Namibia and beautiful boulders in Tanzania. I have a real passion for mountaineering and winter climbing but I don’t think you could beat a summer day at Gogarth!
Over the past few years I’ve worked with a diverse range of groups with different levels of experience and love the fact that I get to work with so many different people in fantastic locations. I’ve instructed at many different crags and on the hill all over the UK and led groups worldwide using the International Mountain Leader Award.
