One of our most popular courses, this is ideal for any climber who has some top-rope climbing experience and would like to start leading outdoor, single-pitch sport routes. You'll build on your existing top-roping skills, developing the confidence to become competent in leading new and exciting climbs.

 

The lead climbing skills you learn on this course will also enable you to lead climb on indoor walls. No indoor lead climbing experience is needed for this course.

 

Where next?

Once you've completed this course, there are a number of options to progress your climbing. A common desire of climbers at this level is to learn how to lead up traditional climbs (placing your own protection into the rock); you might also like to use your skills on a guided climbing holiday abroad to experience new heights in exhilarating, sunny locations.
