Learn to Lead - Trad

Overview Locations Gallery Testimonials

This two day course covers the basic skills of lead climbing traditional routes, concentrating on placing protection. Not all crags you go to when climbing will be bolted and so having completed the Learn to Lead - Trad course will allow you to visit a wider range of crags that require the skill of using traditional placements.

Where next?

The Trad climbing improver course is a great natural progression after this course.

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed the course and I felt I learnt a lot and my climbing skills have improved. Dave is an amazing instructor and has really taught me so much."
