The winner of this prize draw will be selected at random on the 29th February 2012 and will be notified on the telephone number provided when entering the competition. If the winner is uncontactable for 21 days or does not accknowledge repeated attempts to contact them after 21 days the another name will be drawn. This process will continue untill a winner is contacted and the prize is accknowledged.
This prize is transferable. If the winner of the holiday would like to give this prize to another person then they may do so if Rock & Sun are notified in writing (email or letter). It is not allowed for this prize to be sold on or for the original winner to profit in any way from transferring the prize to another person.
The person(s) travelling on this holiday or course do not need to have any prior climbing experience. Speak with the Rock & Sun bookings team to find a suitable holiday, from introduction holidays to more advanced courses or guiding.
The holiday or course that can be chosen by the winner must be in Calpe, Costa Blanca, Spain and includes, for two people: 7 nights accommodation, 5 days of instructed / guided climbing, all required equipment except climbing shoes, transfers between the airport and accommodation, transport to the climbing locations on each of the 5 days climbing, breakfast & packed lunch on each of the 5 days climbing, two nights at a local restaurant to the accommodation,
The minimum age for the holiday is 6 years old and at least one of the two travellers must be a responsible adult. Any children under the age of 18 will be deemed the responsibility of the responsible adult when not under the instruction of the climbing instructor i.e. during the evenings and non climbing days.
The maximum value of the holiday that can be claimed is to have an original (before any reductions or promotional offers) value of no more than £599 per person with a maximum flight budget of £175 per person. If the winner of the competition would like to travel at a time where the flight price exceeds £175 per person then they will be required to pay the additional fees, this price is inclusive of any airport or airline taxes or charges.
In addition to the above values, Rock & Sun will provide all the other additional components of the competition prize, including food and insurance at no extra cost to the travellers.
The holiday or course that can be chosen must be a holiday or course that is already in the Rock & Sun schedule and subject to availability. For Costa Blanca where this prize holiday is for this will typically provide two options per month but no less that one. The prize holiday is for 2 people and both people must travel on the same holiday / course and take the same airport transfer times; additional transfers can be arranged at different times (if accommodating different flight times) however this will incur additional costs.
No credit will remain after this holiday. If the winner chooses a holiday or course that is less that the possible value of the prize then potential remaining holiday value will be lost and not redeemable on any other product or service.
Entrants for this prize draw have been gathered from trade shows, facebook, and other impromptu marketing opportunities, all entrants have been provided with the opportunity to read these terms and conditions. Only one entry is permitted per person and any duplicates will be removed before the draw.
This prize can not be used in conjunction with any other special or promotional offers and must be used within 12 months from the date of being notified of winning.
