Introduction
Tao means path, or way that encompasses all, it is a way of enlightenment and balance.
The Tao of Climbing is a path to self discovery and empowerment, a tool to help learn & understand the universe, including yourself and your surroundings.
This workshop reveals the sense in climbing for the Journey not the destination...the path is aimed at action with no action, act without acting, purely climbing with out effort...
The Week has many ideas and techniques that are first explained and then integrated with-in the climbing experience.

Programme
Here is a typical week's programme:

• Transfer to Apartment in Calpe

• Welcome meeting
• What is the Tao of Climbing?
• Aims of week • Goal setting • Go climbing, basic rope saftey on single pitch. • Easy day

• Yoga & meditation
• Identify why failing, strengths and weaknesses. • No failure, only feedback • Movement - key basic principles of technique. • Rejuvenation exercises

| Tuesday |
| • Yoga/Do-In • Breathing, exercises and patterns • Onsighting, flash, redpoint • Rejuvenation exercises |
| Wednesday |
| • Yoga/Do-In • Easier climbing! Semi physical rest day • Mental States • Motivation • Learning movement • Ki awareness, centre awareness • Rejuvenation exercises |
| Thursday |
• Yoga/Do-In • Putting it together, • Unconscious competence • What is mastery • Project completion • Rejuvenation exercises
