Paul Boggis

Mountains and rock climbing have been a big part of Paul's life since he first went to North Wales in 1987. Since then, he has been fortunate to visit many beautiful places in the British Isles, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa and has shared some great adventures with wonderful people.

Climbing outside his comfort zone is a big challenge that presents a richly rewarding opportunity for learning to be calm, focused and free on the rock. The technique and movement aspects of climbing hold a great deal of interest to Paul and he thoroughly enjoys the relaxed and fluid feeling that comes with climbing well.

Paul leads up to E2 on trad, 7a on sport, Scottish IV in winter and he has led treks up to 5750m in the Andes and the Himalayas. A member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, Paul holds the Mountaineering Instructor and Winter Mountain Leader Awards and he has been instructing professionally since 1999.
