Ed is a full time Mountain Instructor, Expedition Leader and Technical Advisor and has been working in the Outdoor industry for the last 18 years.

 

Ed holds the Mountain Instructor Certificate, the highest award for instructors working in the UK, so can work in Summer and Winter and is able to work in all the mountain areas of the country.

 

As an expedition leader Ed has led more than twenty five trips around the world.

 

These trips have been to the greater ranges in Asia and South America as well as Africa and Europe.

 

Having spent many years working in outdoor centres with both mainstream and clients with special education needs, he has developed a relaxed and flexible professional style that people find easy to work with.

 

With the continuing change of society’s needs it is important to get training and advice from up to date and active mountaineers who regularly work in challenging and adverse conditions all year round.

 

Due to Eds wealth of experience he is our primary team member to provide consultancy services for Rock & Sun.
